Christian Beliefs

We believe, trust and obey our God. But it becomes necessary to re-examine how we approach our God. Many times we forget our creator and give more emphasis to created things than to the creator. We sink our thoughts in worldly things. At such time we ought to recall the suffering of the early missionaries and our forefathers. Truly we are one in Christ. There is no racism in Christ. In spite of this teaching of oneness.

There are many Christian denominations in our towns. We are influenced outside creeds too. There are more Churches than Church members. Some leave there former Churches to join or introduce new de nomination. The situation of the Christianity in our town is very difficult, very ugly and very bad. There are also emotional Christians every where. This is due to little knowledge of theology. Our town had held the golden Jubilee of the establishment of Christianity in it. So our land had been dedicated to our God.

All of us are Christians, Wears no more infants but already adult in the spiritual life. There fore we can stand by ourselves without any out side helps. We the people of Matupi, use to regard. Those good pastor and teachers were come to us from outside our own township, with great esteem and admiration. It is good to do so, but in doing so we neglect Jerusalem. One asks “What Jerusalem means there?” Jerusalem here means you, your family your relatives, your Church, your pastor and your township. Jerusalem is the most important things for you. So you must give the first in every thing to it. After that you may serve other. Sometime our God became small and easily changing God. These are not the marks off good Christians.

The essence of Christianity is love, patience, righteousness and to serve others. Whenever we are and what ever were doing God always see us with his living eyes.
